Hope he was smart with his money and has some solid post-football plans. The Super Bowl and Pro Bowl season the next year should have given him some good contract negotiation room.

I'm sure coming into the league on a team with Peyton Manning as his qb helped ole Joe on AND off the field with regards to decision making.
I'll say this for Addai: having worked as a bartender at a fairly popular bar back in my LSU days, I saw many, many big name players come in and party ALL THE TIME....I only saw Joe once. He came in in his LSU sweat suit, ordered a water, stayed 10 minutes and then left.
Dude was all business and wanted to play in the leauge. Good job Joe.
