Actually football at ALL levels is safer than its ever been.
(This tragedy aside) I would recommend to anyone "The War on Football" by Dan Flynn.
Researched the health and benefits of playing FB players vs non FB players. Also, completley blows up
the "studies" that NFL FB players commit suicide at higher rates and die at an earlier age than the average
male. Both are completly false. Also did studies comparing the health of HS FB players over a 30 yr period vs non HS players.

Did it say anything about the brain trauma associated with slamming your head into a hard object beginning at 11 years old?
