Most coaches "discipline" or suspend their players against "cupcake U" - it's nothing new.
In 1986 Tennessee self-suspended 10 of their players for their opener against New Mexico.
So Patterson was right that players would be taken out by Miles against lesser opponents but it's nothing new and he shouldn't be miffed.
