They have been farming these shrimp in So. Texas for years. They escape into the gulf, nothing new other than they are spreading though out the gulf. I've eaten the farmed raised several time. Not bad but not as good as wild shrimp. I would like to taste one caught in the wild. This will not be a good thing over time.
