Since 90% of shows are basically considered reality now days, are some considered poorer than others?

For instance, I like to watch pawn stars and american pickers solely for the historical value of the items. I will not watch swamp people, duck dynasty, big brother ect...

Now that I think about it, I don't watch any traditional television programs, other than what comes on the Disney Channel when I watch with my son. I do watch Swamp people and Duck Dynasty occasionally. Deadliest Catch and Mountain Men are the two I primarily watch. I used to enjoy Last American Cowboy. I haven't seen it in awhile so I assume it went by the wayside. Something about Mountain Men/Cowboy appeals to me. I suppose it is the isolation and the fact pretty much everything those guys do is for their own survival that I like. At least that's how it comes off on television.

I've never seen an episode of Big Brother or any of those types of shows.
