I struggle believing that 9 of the 10 best golfers ever were born before 1950. I think what it really shows is how much harder its been to win consistently in the modern game.i can't argue with those names though except I'd find a spot for lefty and put tiger at 1. I also think jones is too high. Byron Nelson maybe too low.

I agree with this. Golf tends to honor and "respect" its elders more than any other sport.

At times, they really go overboard

I was born in 1947 so I got to see some of those on the list during their career. I'm OK with their position. Who would you put on the list that was born after 1950?
