Keeps it neat, properly stored and convenient to carry around the yard or jobsite. when the cord is coiled in the bucket for storage, just put lid on bucket and you are done. This will easily store a 150-200 foot extension cord. Normally the cord won't kink or get twisted or tangled up when you pull it out the top. Cord goes back in quickly and easily.
Hot damn that's a good idea. I HATE extension cords and can never figure out how a knot got into the middle of it. Thanks!
