Bo Jackson is the best athlete of all time...period.
But - probably cause of his injuries in college...his career in CFB wasn't that spectacular if you're rating based off of numbers or plays.
Reggie Bush was a human joystick but couldn't run between the tackles. Depends what you're looking for.
This will get laughs but seriously, the best player I ever saw in college was Warren Sapp. Dude could not be blocked...Nebraska couldn't block him in the Orange Bowl...he lived in the backfield and everyone's favorite player Tommie Frazier only shook loose in the 4th when Sapp's fat arse got tired because he and another guy were the only two worth a damn on that fading Miami dynasty. He was single-handily shutting Nebraska's juggernaut down.
