Gardner and Ichiro are both signed next year, Cervelli, Romine, and Sanchez are serviceable enough, Jeter is coming back another season, Arod I have no idea about it if he comes back.
Yankees could make enough moves in free agency to remain competitive as pitching is the strength of the team now and they've had some young arms show promise this season.
Jeter, Tex, Gardner, Ichiro, Sanchez, Nunez would all be starters next season if Cano/Granderson/Arod leave and rest filled with stop gaps. The farm system is 1 year removed from being a top 5, so they have some talent.
Oh and if Yanks get Soriano then Granderson gone as Wells/ Soriano would be under contract as well
