Little Village - new chef, maybe?

Went during restaurant week last week and ordered the filet tips, medium-rare. Instead, I received a mixture of one rare and most medium-well.
My SO got the fish from the restaurant week menu (I can't remember the name of the dish) and it wasn't mentioned that the fish was fried. Granted, the server was pretty awesome (have to give him credit) even though he didn't mention that the fish was fried. Either way, the fish entree was subpar at best.
We didn't complain. They were packed and we didn't want to be jerks about it. I just wasn't impressed, and there was a time that I was very impressed with their food (I haven't been in over 2 years).
I'm wondering if there's a new chef or something. What's changed?
Or was my pallet just not as mature last time I went?

My best guess.
They got in the weeds and probably didn't have strong enough players to get out of the weeds.
