The little bit of research i've done today shows it to be a promising buy.

LINK

Anyone got any insight on this one? After FB i cringe at tech stocks but I like this one.

use said money on a hooker, at least that will be a fun, relaxing experience. Listen for every Noodles IPO, there are a ton of facebooks. Stick to the proven companies if you wanna not die of an aneurysm.

Look up IPO stock statistics for tech companies, almost without fail, they are bad investments for the long term

Totally with you on this. I hit the floor when I looked at LinkedIn over the past couple of months.

I also made some pretty good money on the Zynga IPO, believe it or not. I think I got in around 6 something and bailed at 10.50. Not a huge jump but I bought lots of shares.

Would not touch. I use that site about twice a year. It's useful but can be a pain to find working codes.

Invest in that? Good god, I don't see how anyone could hit "submit" on a trade.

Why is a company going public if they do not have capital costs to cover and grow (ie a tech stock)? Typically it is their creators trying to cash out of anything. If it was longterm having such favorable profit expectations, they wouldn't be selling and would just hold on.

If you are trying to play IPO bumps and such, that is a different story and best of luck. I played roullette once and got wiped clean.

I'm on board with you HBR. Going to throw $1000 at it just to see how it does first day.

We'll sink together.

Ok I'm really new to investing/etrade etc and don't know much. But does etrade offer some IPO stocks before they go to the secondary market?
