I agree with you there. Especially with the way Upchurch is developing, he already weighs more than Jones but gives up a few inches. Upchurch may be a little bit shorter than prototypical TE, but I think he could play there if needs be. By the way, welcome to the board Purpleandgold2, I'm enjoying your contributions.

Great minds think alike!
I am not going to project Upchurch as you did but I have mentioned TE IF he continues to grow. His problem at TE is his height...6/1" which is tiny for a TE. Thanks for the welcome...I have been here before and had a great time....last year during recruiting.
BTW, some have mentioned Upchurch for RB. He very well may be the most versatile of the WRs that LSU signs..NOT the best but a guy who can play in the middle of the field, used near the goal line, etc.
