Yes. I bought a SR9c for the wife for $425. Its perfect for her. Lightweight, compact, reliable, accurate and inexpensive. The Ruger SR9c is thin and has no finger grooves on the grip so women can get a good handle on it--as opposed to my glock 23 and ruger gp100 which do have finger grooves and they interfere with her forming a comfortable grip on the gun. It also has adjustable sights, which most guns of that size/price do not have. Another added bonus is that she is able to rack the slide easily as opposed to when she attempts to on my 40 and 45.
