Kind of off topic but.... Nitwit is a troll right? I mean his name, he always takes the unpopular view. I might be wrong here, but it seemed obvious to me and I was wondering why yall were even debating him.

Jerry Rice is one of those guys whose 40 times get slower every year....
It becomes part of the accepted myth.
Bill Walsh writes that Rice's 40 time of 4.59 was considered " marginal" by NFL standards. It was.
I suspect Walsh was in a position to know.
Oh, and it's true I don't shy away from unpopular views.
