I attended the '73 game. It was a nightmare. To make matters worse, I went to hear my brother's band who was playing at a frat party. During the party, the Tulane frat boys brought in a part of the goal post which was torn down. As an LSU fan, it was brutal to watch.

Attended both games. In '73, my wife and I were sitting next to a friend, who was a Tulane fan. When the teams came out for the kickoff, Tulane players were high as a kite. LSU players appeared very flat... no jumping up and down... no banging on each others shoulder pads. I told my friend... this may well be Tulane's game.
