I am not sure it was a choke at all.

A 63% free throw shooter makes 1/2. Expected.

The Heat get two offensive rebounds on 3's. That is not unexpected either as long shots are the most difficult to block out on. Even if Duncan is in the game, good chance the ball doesn't come right to him off the miss.

Not sure I see where the Spurs really "choked".

I'm with Tiger on this one. To me a chokejob is where they do something stupid to lose. To me, the Heat just made plays at the end.

or

Hit a FT, and you win

or

Grab a rebound, and you win


Spurs choked horribly to give that game & the championship away. Only thing that remotely compares is the yankees blowing the 3-0 lead.....unless someone else can nominate something bigger w/ more importance.

Agreed. LBJ himself said that "you need some luck to win the NBA Championship." The Heat were lucky to win Game 6.
