At least he uses "we" with everything he says and doesn't distance himself from the rest of the squad. There isn't one member of the squad at the moment who is faultless with what has gone on since the loss to Stoke City. It really is remarkable just how quickly the season has unraveled over the past three weeks or so.

It's disappointing to see players publicly talking about moving on in the future, even if Santi also qualifies it by saying he's happy with his contract extension and will reevaluate his place at Arsenal after the next two years are over.

It's about time for Wenger, or whoever else is in charge for next season, to be more ruthless in the summer and get rid of any player that is holding us back from being truly elite. Go out and do the business that is necessary to get us in contention to win the Premier League and Champions League, not just make an FA Cup run.

Get rid of the players that can't seem to cut it and take us to that level (Arteta, Podolski, Giroud, etc.) and bring in world-class talent we need at every position to cure our "winning mentality" problem that Santi is talking about. I appreciate what those players have done for the club over the past couple of seasons to get us to where we are now, but there is no more time for emotions when considering who should be in our squad for next season.
