leave about 100 ft of line rolled up on a structure. suspend the meat out of the water (the higher the bigger gator). gator gets the meat and swims 100 ft. once he's that far, the meat is in his gut and THE HOOK AINT COMING OUT.
the gator does not move once you approach. BOOM TO THE EAR.
