I did not go to Omaha but did go to BCSNC in NOLA 18 months ago. I think your premise is terrible. If you are going to base your idea of whether it is good to attend or not on the end result, you might as well save your money and notThat attend any of the big games we play in. That way you will never "waste your money" and you can always brag on TD that you have a perfect record for not "wasting your money". BTW, if you want to sell your aTm football tickets this fall, let me know. There is a chance that we could lose and that money might be wasted.

Spent a bunch money on CWS, badly disappointed in the outcome but had a great time up here!!! Omaha people love the Tigers, got tickets behind home plate, front row for our second game!!! 
Barrett's is great, the atmosphere is great, lots of purple -n- gold!!! Sad end to one hell of a season but no negatiger in me. Hurt but still proudly wearing Purple!!!

I easn't bragging about anything.
But I won't apologizing for making the game my #1 priority. I don't go for the party before the game, I go to see the Tigers win. I feel like I'm kicked in the gut when they lose.
I would do better spending my money on golf clubs, which I can use for several years over one weekend or week of a 50/50 shot at fun.
