Meh. The comparison I was making was based on both having high 80s low 90s fastballs but great movement and outstanding control and placement.

YOu need more than a FB and great control to come close to a Maddux comparison, but I can see why you thought that.
Ian Kennedy has great 2 seam movement and great command. He is pretty much Aaron Nola with less stamina.
