Each regional has a 1 seed...only one of the two is a top 8 though.

You msut be new to college baseball. Each of the 16 regionals has a number 1 seed. I think 14 of the number 1 seeds advanced to the Super Regional. There are a ton of 1 vs 1 matchups.
