use dishwashing soap and water - bout 2 tbls soap to quart of water. spray underside of leaves, aphids will die of dehydration.
also don't overfertilize your plants, won't get rid of em, but will attract fewer to start with.

Or product called "Safer Soap" (same damn thing). both are totally non-toxic and works like a charm.
I've gotten to lazy in my old age and just avoid plants that are susceptible to aphids to begin with.
