Anybody who thinks we can't hit OU's "aces" doesn't know much apparently. We have one of the best hitting teams in the nation, possibly the best. They're considered aces, but look who's in their conference that made it. And look who's in our conference that made it. The SEC has a much deeper talent pool and we hit the shite out of the ball collectively as a conference. I'd put Nola and either Glenn or Eades up against anybody's aces out there. The fact that we hit the ball in the SEC plays into it big time for me.

We're gonna be favored with anybody we play, we just have to go out and play. And another thing, baseball is a very cyclical game, very streaky, their pitchers can go cold. Just like our hitters can. It doesn't matter who we play, IF we make it to the SR, we still have to bring our best.

I don't want OU coming down here playing for the victims of the tornadoes. Sorry. I'd rather an inexperienced team like VT.

This.

Gray is outstanding, but he's proven to be very beatable.

Their tough lefty, Dillon Overton, is also coming off a mid-season injury so he's not exactly anything to be feared right now.

And their #3 guy (Jake Fisher, I think) isn't great. He's serviceable, but a lineup like this team has would feast on him.

I would love a chance to beat them though. Their coach is a known douchebag and would likely say something stupid to get LSU fans going early in the week, much like the UC-Irvine coach did.
