Covington wasn't even relevant before him. And there are tons of coaches that have antics, everybody has a different coaching style. You can't build a program over night. Boosters and principal can try to slice it any way they want, but it was pretty messed up. If you don't like it, do it after the season or tell him he can finish the year but they don't plan on him coming back so he can at least have ample time to find another job.

I understand that, but it's not like he's Nick Saban and winning every year. He's not, he's going .500. And with parent complaints filing in, I understand why they did it.

I agree, the timing is bad, and he had them playing better the past two seasons, with this year expecting to compete for district. Although the last time they were expected to win district, they went 6-4 and lost in the first round of the playoffs.

The coach before Scobel had a better record than him and got fired, and he was liked by the boosters. So I understand them firing because of his .500 record and his antics.

This. What she did was just unprofessional and rude.
