To not look sloppy, disorganized and confused?

To have the team look like they've actually been on the field with each other before?

To have players play in their actual positions?

To call in our best players?

To not be genuinely concerned about dropping points to CONCACAF teams that have nowhere near the talent that the US has?

To have the team play with *some* purpose? (What does this team do? Do we try to possess? Are we a bunker and counter team? If you know, please share with the rest of the class...)

No one is clamoring to win the World Cup. But to be white-knuckling through qualification (stoppage time win vs. fricking Antigua & Barbuda, first ever loss to Jamaica, first ever loss in San Pedro Sula, creating three shots on goal through the first three games of the hex) is ridiculous.
