Dish, DirecTv, and ATT Uverse are stonewalling CSNH. Not treating it like typical regional sports networks, theyre mostly at fault here. CSNH doesn't want anybody to have to pay extra for the channel.

Because CSN Houston isn't a true regional sports network.

They cover 2 Houston sports teams... yet CSNH wants their channel to be available all through Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

That means everybody in those areas will have their cable or satellite bill increase for a channel with teams the majority if them don't care about.

CSNH won't budge on the areas they want to distribute to, and they won't budge on their price.

CSNH is comparing their channel to other regional sports networks, except those other networks are in a bigger market with better teams with more intense fans. CSNH isn't a true RSN, is in a smaller market, and fans are apathetic about their teams.

The satellite and cable companies don't think the price they are charging is fair based on demand, and they don't think it's fair to make people in states like Arkansas pay for a channel with teams they don't care about.

This is 100% on CSNHouston. I don't blame the cable and satellite companies one bit. It's a bad deal for them and a lot of people who don't want their bill to increase.
