Cartoon reboots that surpass their originals?

My nominee is "A pup name scooby doo." They managed to lampoon the original martial while preserving old memes and creating new ones.

For example: Shaggy and Scooby still are perceptually hungry (like in the original), while Freddie (in the remake) is obsessed with conspiracy tabloids.

Its not better than the original but i actually liked the All Grown up Rugrats

No way any new Scooby surpasses the original. If it counts then when they re did Space Ghost Coast to Coast on Adult Swim will beat anything else. lol

That being said, one of the local movie stores in town had a couple of video cassettes of the original 80s cartoon series that I used to love to rent on the weekends
