if i had to pick one of those it would be the kimber... but now by much. The 3.5" 1911s are nutoriously not very reliable although you have selected a fine example of such. not a huge fan of the XDm/s although a lot of people do like them. Its going to come down to weight and the 1911 will shoot a lot better but will be a lot heavier to carry. I won't be the guy to tell you about the coolest thing ive just bought but i will say imho there are better choices for concealed carry

Don't keep me hanging bro. I'm open to suggestions....that's why in the OP I said (pretty much) narrowed it down to those two.
