My mom passed away in 2011. Her and my dad were in an assisted living facility in Atlanta near my sister as they were Gustav refugees. My mom basically had a stroke that affected her ability to focus and that's why she was there.

When the Saints won the Superbowl, she had my dad put up a Saints pennant on their door for the benefit of all the local Georgia folk in the facility and wouldn't let anyone move it to her dying day.

She was a great football and Saints fan, a proud New Orleanian, and a wonderful mom who practiced what she preached. I have no doubt in my mind that she's "in that number"

For you mom.

I was upset after a Saints loss one time, and my mother told me "It's just a game."

I looked at her and said "Yeah, well mothers day is just a day."

That's how I roll.
