Bought my wife a Traverse about a year and a half ago. MSRP was somewhere around $33,000 and we got it for around $26,000. I just bought a GMC Sierra that's MSRP was around $37,000. I paid less than $26,000 for it. The invoice price on the truck was over $34,000. GM has a lot of wiggle room right now. I would try to get them to come off of that price some more. Good luck!

How did you get them down in price that much? I'm far from the worlds best negotiator.

I bought both while GM was offering nice rebates/incentives. Don't go in looking for the perfect car because then they have you where they want you. I knew I wanted a 5.3 V8 crew cab but other than that I was flexible. They had a special on the truck I bought and then I pretended to walk out when they wouldn't give me the price I wanted. Search Will Cover's thread about car buying on this site. He posted a LOT of useful information. Good luck.
