A lot of great WRs struggle in their first year or two. Of the top of my head Marvin Harrison and Roddy White.
AJ Jenkins offers amazing top end speed far beyond any of the other 49er wrs. The staff wants him to get stronger, he had trouble getting off bump and run coverage last year.
If doesn't produce this year, then the bust talk should begin.
