1/9/12. A day filled with such promise but it left me feeling so empty. Thought we'd win and was psyched about hitting Bourbon St afterwards but my and our dreams were crushed.

Losing to Miami (OH) 21-12 in 1986 is the worst game I ever sat through. To top off a crappy game was the fact that it was windy and rainy for much of the game.

Before most of you were even born, I was in Tiger Band for the worst game ever: Alabama vs LSU 1979. The rain came down in torrents (when the word "torrent" meant an extremely violent downpour.) Alabama was #1 ranked, and while we fought hard, we lost 0-3 on a 3rd quarter field goal that was made in a very short weather break. This was a true "mud-bowl". To top it all off for me, after being soaked all night, and a loss, my dad owned the company that cleaned up afterwards -- and he woke me up the next morning at 7am, and told me that his crew was short and that we had to head over to the stadium. I spent Sunday morning and afternoon 8-hours, cleaning up the 'Bama fan section. Since then, I've hated 'Bama even more than 'Ole Miss. Yeah, I just said that. I hate Alabama football more than 'Ole Miss.

LSU/Tulane 1981 at the Dome. Tulane 48-7...there have been some stinkers in my lifetime, but none worse than that.

Losing to them at home in the first round of the NIT a few months later made it even worse.

Tulane actually had a few fans back then and they were the worst.

2009 Super Regional Game 2. LSU was on a crazy winning streak, but the one game I went to they lost.

A 10 year old girl threw up all over me from behind in the 8th inning. Took my throw-up-soaked shirt off and walked out.

The game in OP is definitely the worst I've been too. The weather was miserable and we got stomped. We were also sitting next to our famy friends who are die hard bammers so that made things worse

That game was so bad I forgot it ever existed it makes me appreciate Coach Miles even more ! We had just lost keven faulk, ryan clark and and a whole host of denardo recruits if he would of had a decent defensive back field coach,LSU woulda have acouple more champion ships and sabin never would have been college football genius !

San Jose St in 98 or 99. We won but struggled. It was the end on the Dinardo era.

DiNardo's last game as coach against Houston.Lost 20-7 in a game that was so boring that the fans in TS watched & cheered a beach ball being knock though the stands rather than watch that pitiful display of ineptitude that was on the field. The plus side was Saban was hired and the program did a 180 and hasn't stopped yet.
