My problem is that in this draft there were players that could do the exact same thing as late as the 3 rd round.

Neither you or I own a crystal ball. No one's success or failure is guaranteed. It's all subjective at this point. I repeat: "YOU don't like the Vaccaro pick. Nobody with any kind of football knowledge agrees with you."

your entire defense primarily relies on the opinions of others

I was not a fan of Vaccaro when we picked him. Then I watched the Texas game play for play. I saw a missed arm tackle here, taking a bad angle in run support there, and having trouble getting off TA's block. With the exception of one completion allowed in man and two zone completion allowances (that I could blame on the safety), I also saw KV stay with an electric receiver stride for stride, step for step, something I rarely saw any Saints defender do last year. It was then I became a Vacarro fan. Mel Kiper or Mike Mayock never made me like Vaccaro. My eyes did.

the only thing you offered against anything I said, ANY of the clips i posted, ANY of the responses to the "evidence" you provided of him against tavon austin was this

Yes, I purposely didn't answer every stupid explanation you had on the clips, because you're the type of person who can't admit the other guy made a point, so you will harp on & on over minute details & semantics (as you did for another two paragraphs about the one direct comment I made to your points) and this could go to infinity. I've been around this rodeo before. We will agree to disagree. So it remains that I think you are wrong.

but lets make the base bet

All your bets are based on bad angles, personal fouls, and dropping INTs. I wouldn't take those bets if we drafted Darrelle Revis. I've admitted to you I saw him take a bad angle. I'm on the record saying I don't "see playmaking-turnover guy". What I've addressed is his impressive cover skills and showed you evidence. But once again, in effort to disparage this guy, you re-direct the cover skills issue to game flaws that even an All Pro could make. The whole bet suggestion is incongruent, and frankly, absurd.

What is far from a crap shoot is studying successful organizations and their valuations of players relative to unsuccessful organizations' valuations.

I think the Saints are a successful organization. I think the 49ers are a successful organization. San Fran wanted Vaccaro. The Saints took him. To avoid the next safety San Fran liked from being taken, they moved up to take Reid. Jim Harbaugh, Sean Payton, Rex Ryan, and LSUFreek like Vaccaro. YOU don't. Maybe you should re-think your evaluations.
