But your choice lacks clear rationale thought and its effect on the life of the "student athlete." If people aren't given second chances how can they learn anything worth a crap in life? Punishment is needed...........but to end a career over a bar fight is asinine and lacks intuition.
His career wont be over. Just his right to play at LSU. He had 1 chance already, whether me and you agree with the charge or the nature of it is irrelevant. Now he has gone out and commited another crime. If the facts are that he punched another human being in the face or head, then he should be gone. Plain and simple. If I get arrested for this same crime, I lose my job immediately. If I go out and get a DUI then I lose my job immediately. These are real life choices and consequences. I love this LSU football team, and I love watching J.Hill play, but I am tired of giving 3-10 chances to these young men, simply because they play football.

Most peopel don't lose their jobs for being charged with a misdemeanor.

Where in the hell do you work, and why would they fire you for getting into a bar fight? Also, what was his first chance? Isnt this his first incident while he was on this football team?

Geaux Ranger doesn't even understand what a simple battery charge is..............and secondly, he doesn't even understand the policies of his own employer.........
but we should take his opinion seriously on discipling a major college football program.
