My wife makes fun of me for liking Neil Diamond, the soundtrack of Jesus Christ Superstar, and the occasional "candy-arse love song" (as she calls them).
I'm not really ashamed, and tell her to shut the hell up or I'll take her playlist of her ipod.

Nothing wrong with Diamond. My favorite album of all time is Hot August Night.
Rod Stewart was mentioned.... nothing wrong with Rod - especially his days with The Faces. A very underrated band
