Not as cheap as the Vortex but much better quality. I figured that the OP learned his lesson and was ready to spend a bit more on quality. Is $300 really a lot to spend on a quality scope?

Always loved Leupolds. Had them on all my prior hunting rifles back in the day.
Was just looking for something cheaper that would do the job for my lesser AR
My middie is getting an Aimpoint and my LaRue ( whenever it finally shows) is getting a Leupold or possibly a Zeiss/NightForce .
Thus was just looking at some less expensive options for gun number three.
And trying to help out any OBer considering that optic.
