If you are looking for strikeouts, then start everyone vs Houston.
I would be a little more wary I you are just chasing qs. I would go for it. I tend to start too many guys though
I started Bartolo Colon against them last week and got a double digit k/9 rate. Colon's k/9 on the season is like 5

I've been good at strikeouts all year. I am looking for the QS. Probably won't start with Medlen and Lynn starting.

Is Atlanta going to kick Gio in the nuts again?
Posted on 6/1/13 at 1:08 pm to swamie
Yes. I would still start him anyway, but I make questionable moves sometimes.
What do you think about Hudson?
Right now, I am starting Jerome Williams at Houston and thinking about streaming Buehrle at San Diego. Benching Hudson, but I am going to the Braves game, so I am thinking of starting him as a rooting interest.
Probably a bad idea, but I feel like gambling with these guys.

Hudson has been the anti Gio in his starts against WAS this year. Plus you're going to the game so you have to start him.

True. Starting Hudson. Benched Buehrle.

Tyler Skaggs against St. Louis?

I wouldn't start very many against St. Louis these days.

I hate my matchups this week. Kennedy against St. Louis, Cashner in Colorado, etc.
Wandy against Atlanta is one of my better matchups

Im throwing Bailey against Colorado tonight. Fail?
Posted on 6/4/13 at 1:37 pm to reddman
I'm starting him, Redd.
The one bad inning in his last 25 isn't scaring me away from the start.

Thinking about throwing Nolasco @Philly tonight. Crazy, or just plain stupid?
Posted on 6/4/13 at 1:59 pm to PortCityTiger24
I have Tillman against the Astros.

I've picked up Nolasco in every league I could.
Four of his last five starts have been fairly good. He's striking people out; got into trouble last start vs the Rays with the walks but it was the long balls that hurt him more than BB's.
I believe Nolasco is going to be a guy who gives up some hits, but not walking many hitters and striking out hitters at just over a 7 K/9 rate will help keep the ERA where it is - being able to strand runners which is up to 73.6% from 69.3 and 66.2% the two years prior.
The FIP is currently right in line with his current era, so this may be who he is this year.
