Fairness is something we all would like to see, but we never will. The SEC began with a core group of teams. The SEC still serves that core group.

The newer members will have to live off the crumbs of it's established members. That is the way it is. Always will be. When these members start beasting a little, then they might get a little more provision. But not until.

Perhaps the two newest members might have some say over who fills the remaining two spots to reach 16 teams--but I doubt it!

That is because the SEC league office is self-serving. Power is a beautiful thing if you have it. But it sucks if you don't.

I hate Bama as much as the rest of you. But the good-ole-boy network doesn't give a sh*t! Just like they can have their own rules for math!

Just keeping it real here! Civil people don't see things this way, but this is how the redneck views the world.

All this discussion is but a diversion from the real issue. The real issue is BAMA rednecks run the SEC office! Glad to see that this is being exposed.

LSU is a founding member. LSU is not, in any way, some Johnny Come Lately to this party.

It's impossible to achieve "fairness" in anything really. Even if you play the identical schedule, injuries happen, nothing can be identical.

But, the bridge schedules, made with reasonable knowledge of how competitive each team would be (unlike before), provided a completely unbalanced schedule. From the info I gave, the SEC could have easily balanced them and followed the scheduling patterns with the rest of the league. They did not.

This is important to discuss. Nothing can be changed this year, but the role of the media is unlike any other sport. Remember, they lifted a second-place divisional team with one quality win into the NCG over a 1-loss conference champion of a statistically superior conference.
