Justice/Heyward could go either way.

Justice's career averages are better than Heyward's career highs in most offensive categories. Plus, Justice was in his prime in the early/mid 90s. Hopefully, Heyward really comes on this year, but Id take Justice right now.

Ok, let's just tackle this nonsense right now.

First:

David Justice was 23 years old when he debuted in the bigs.

Jason Heyward is 23 this year... 4 years into his career.

Second:

Jason Heyward has already racked up a more valuable season than Justice EVER did (2012 based on fWAR). Further, his rookie season was worth nearly as much as Justice's career highs (which came in his mid 20s, an age Heyward is yet to reach).

Saying you'd take Justice is basically saying, "Oh, I'd take Honus Wagner over Babe Ruth" in 1919, cause "Honus' career averages are better." Just kind of a nonsense thing to say.

Heyward could very well turn out to not be as good as David Justice, though I highly doubt it, considering he's already amassed almost a third of Justice's entire career worth... by the age Justice was just starting his career.
