Doesn't really matter which brand you go with. All the major players make basically the same residential mower. They will all be dual hydrostatic drive. The differences will be in engine size, wheather or not you want a stamped deck, or pay more for the thicker, welded deck. A commercial grade mower will probably cost at least double what the residential ones run. The thing to decide is do you want a better quality drive system of a commercial mower or not. If it is for just cutting 2.5 acres every week or two, you can easily get by with a residential Toro, Exmark, Hustler, etc. When I was mower shopping, I decided on a Toro 4260. It has a larger engine than the Exmark and Hustler, but does have a stamped deck. They all drive the same, cut the same, and cost about the same. Good luck
