I think we'd have to move up to get him, but I wouldn't be disappointed if he was our pick.

I still think we may go 3rd or 4th round OT. That's been the Saints MO since Loomis/Payton have been here. (Evans, Bushrod & Nicks)

I agree with all of this. I've been steadfastly against an offensive lineman in the first but the way it's shaping it looks like they are setting themselves up for BPA. I'd still much, much, much prefer a defensive playmaker BUT IF they decided to draft LT, I wouldn't break quite as many objects as I initally said I would. If they trade up to do it though....I just hope my wife and daughter aren't home that day. Luckily I have some sheetrock in the garage that I can punch a hole in instead of my wall.

Lucky find, mediocre in his best years, and first round talent with character issues.

I'm tired about hearing this is their MO when they whiffed on just as many guys as they "hit" on. Tennant? Brown? Alleman?

One lucky find in Payton's draft history does not make a pattern.

Can't forget though that those picks were made when Kromer was around. May have had a decent bit to do with the ability to spot them that late.
