You're right, at least in Tulane's case. They consider anyone with 12 credits an alum. That's why they have the Student Alumni Association--there are a lot of current undergraduates who are already alumni.

I can understand non-alumni in Louisiana pulling for LSU. Same for Ohio State and other one-team state schools.

What I don't understand is an LSU grad pulling for Duke or Notre Dame or Michigan or whomever. Same for other places.
