Mingo's first year as a starter was VERY good. He had 8 sacks and he'd only played DE for like 2 years at that point, and never in any real games.

Last year they doubled him more and he actually dropped back into coverage a lot more.

Mingo's going to be a good pass rusher in the NFL and will be fine dropping back if you ask me but he's going to have issues playing the run. He's very small and the frame isn't there to add too much more weight. Hell, he's already added a LOT of weight to get where he's at. Dude played Safety his senior year of high school.

His first step and explosion off the line are top-tier. Give him a headstart and he'll be able to get to the QB effectively imo. Wouldn't work as a down lineman at this level, but he's not gonna have to worry about that.
