I wouldn't buy fish from albertsons either, no way its fresh.
I've bought their skin on salmon filets before and didn't have an issue. I only buy them when I see them on sale though

I don't see how anyone does the majority of their shopping there. My wife braves wal mart for the staples and I shop around for meats, cheeses and produce and beer of course.
I will pop over to Albertsons occasionally to buy chips or something when heading to someone's house and am always shocked how high they are on everything

I only go there if I need a handful of items because their prices can be high. Sometimes $1/item compared to Wal-Mart. They also have a location 3 blocks from me and carry a few items I use that Wal-Mart doesn't carry.

Albertsons pork chops (and increasingly chicken) injected with tenderizing solution I buy beef there when making stroganoff, etc. but not steaks or roasts...typically very poor quality.

What exactly are you talking about? The Sanderson Farms fryer in my freezer says it contains no artificial ingredients or preservatives. I'm not aware the chicken breasts I buy from the meat counter are any different.

It's all USDA Choice. How much variation is there within the classification?
