And Mingo played in the tougher conference.
WHY THE MINGO HATE AND THE JORDAN LOVE?
This is exactly what I have been saying. The biased works two ways here. Either there are LSU fans that love Mingo, or hate him because of the dreaded "he can't shed blocks argument". They can say this because none of them had the exposure to Jordan they had to Mingo. Dion Jordan but nearly identical numbers to Mingo last year. The biggest difference being Mingo had 11 more QB hurries than Jordan. That alone shows me he was in the backfield more, but still people are all on board the Jordan bandwagon and hate Mingo I just don't get it either.

I really don't understand people who have issue with Mingo getting drafted by the Saints in the first when so many non-LSU coaches, scouts, and fans are interested in him to go much earlier than pick #15. He is a bargain pickup at that draft slot and makes good sense in a transition to a 3-4. If anyone thinks it is cool to ridicule LSU fans for wanting LSU players, pick on the guys who want Tyrann Mathieu with that pick.
