Here is an excellent guide that will help you out a lot.
I'm still pretty lost on a lot of stuff. Housing, fishing, lodges, etc. You buy houses, and your guild eventually buys enough to own the township, create jobs, etc, and you have to defend it over other guilds. About all I know.
This game is all about PVP and guild battles over land/towns, etc.
I just want the puppy for my pet "naughty dog"

I got my puppy!!! Hit level 12, starting to enjoy this a bit actually.
Not sure how but I'm the wealthiest person on the server atm.
