Oh, so I didn't know this, but in order to do an upgrade (the kind where I keep my programs) from 7 to 8.1, I have to do an upgrade from 7 to 8, then from 8 to 8.1. That is fricking retarded. Why am I even doing this...

lol... so I found an ISO of Win 8 that I downloaded a long time ago. Though I'd try the upgrade option.
