The only reason I prefer nvidia is because I have a dual boot system and the Mac OS hasn't added the AMD 7 series officially yet. Is the 670 much better than the 660 ti? I just want to get something that will have high performance for a few years.

If you are gaming @ 1920x1080.. nope.
Make sure you purchase a 3GB model if you want to future proof it. You can always add a 2nd 660Ti for SLi.
