There is only one ball. There is no reason not to have a team player like Touchet on a D1 team. When buidling a championship team, you do NOT want it full of ball needing scorers. Players play along with stars. Touchet is a player. Do yourself a favor and go see him next year, he could average 40 points a game if he wanted but his team would not win as many games.
You know what he did the day after they announced his award? He called his coach and asked if he could get the gym opened for him to practice....oh and by the way, IT WAS 5 AM!!!

sure there is. We have better players lining up to play for LSU. The guy may or may not be SEC caliber. But what I know is that LSU is after players more well regarded than he is. Its not a slight to the kid, its a testament to the kind of player Johnny Jones is getting. If some others fall through maybe he gets a chance. But how do you offer him with Victor, Exum, Booker, Oubre, Beard etc... still out there. I know some are long shots as of now...
