As far as you thought about companies doing shite that they knew would kill people, it happens everyday, and I see it all the time, and none of them are ever ruined...... despite my best efforts.

If its your best effort to ruin one of the best rifle makers out there I suggest that you take your sorry arse elsewhere. The remington 700 action has set the standard for accuracy and reliability since its inception. You find them in just about every competition, police and military force on the planet. If the rifle wasnt good do you honestly think for one second that it would be as popular as it is? The level of ignorance displayed by some posters here is astounding, that you could be taken in by one hit piece on a notoriously liberal network, known for its pro guncontrol stance belies a fatal error in your operating system. Let me ask you a question, did you try to ruin, ford, toyota and chevrolet? Because they too have had product failures that cost lives.

When they have had safety defects, yes, the media has held their feet to the fire. Toyota acceleration problems ring any bells?

Reading this from an unbiased perspective, there seems to be some fanboying going on. If you admit that they greatly improved the trigger mechanism, then there must have been flaws in the old design. Why is it only 700s? Your Remington is not the perfect rifle.
